Initially, I do not see any need to charge many batteries because I just buy extra battery chargers.
They are tedious to set up and take up so much space. Now I start considering chargers will more wattage such as the ToolkitRC M8S with 400 W charging or 18 A.
Although useful to speed up charging large batteries, I rarely have those except for car batteries. I charge car batteries at the maximum that my Imax B6 can charge, 6A. It took overnight.
Now that I have an outboard motors and an ebike, I need faster charging to reduce the time needed to charge.
I built my ebike batteries using sets of 6S cells. Two batteries connected in parallel. Each battery is made up of 2 sets of 6S cells connected in series.
To charge, I charge each 6S cells by providing JST connectors for charging. I need 4 sets of chargers, but have only 3 working B6 chargers of various types.
I have a mains powered B6 which is yhe most stable. Two others uae AC adaptors rates for 6A but only useable at 1A. I have a DC power supply that can provide 12 V 4 A source.
To prove more than 6A, I need a car battery as the cheapest although I have an expensive Lipo 6S 5AH battery. ToolkitRC chargers have the recycle discharge mode to discharge higher than 1 A.
Still, to make full use of the high wattage charger, we need the parallel charging board.
